Service & Repair Technician

Hydrotech is looking for a smart, focused professional to join our team as an Service and Repair Technician. The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge to apply troubleshooting techniques and determine repairs necessary to complete the customer’s requested scope of work.

A typical day includes service and repair of various types of hydraulic components and systems including but not limited to pumps, motors, directional valves, proportional valves and cylinders. Also performs service calls at a customer’s facility to troubleshoot hydraulic systems, electrical systems and components using various types of diagnostic equipment.

This position is Monday-Friday 7am-4pm and may require additional hours during evenings or weekends depending on business needs. Local travel is minimal and up to 15% of the time based on customer needs.

 Desired Qualifications & Experience:

  • High School diploma, Trade School Certificate or GED
  • Valid Driver’s license with no minor moving violations within the most recent 36-month period and no major violations or suspensions in the most recent 60-month period
  • Knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics including, pumps, directional valves, motors, proportional valves and cylinders
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Ability to read, analyze and interpret hydraulic and electrical schematics
  • Excellent Mathematical skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Use of basic hand tools, pneumatic tools and power tools
  • Ability to lift 50lbs

A typical day includes overseeing the movement, distribution, and storage of materials in our organization. This position controls the flow of incoming materials and outgoing finished products to ensure customers receive products on time. Core responsibilities are as follows:

  • Maintain and increase revenue within assigned accounts or APR

Shipping Clerk

Under the guidance of the Inventory Control/Logistics Manger, processes inbound and outbound shipments. This position utilizes warehouse management software as well as web based applications to control and ship products. They are responsible for operating lift trucks and cranes in a responsible and safe matter to process inbound and outbound shipments.

Control Application Engineer

CAD Designer

Under the supervision of the Engineering Manager, the CAD Designer performs a variety of entry level design/drafting activities group including preparing/updating installation drawings for projects, preparing assembly/manufacturing drawings, establishing guidelines and procedures for CAD data management, and managing workload distribution within the department. Other duties to be performed as assigned.

General Administrator

Provides general office support with a variety of clerical, secretarial and administrative related tasks. The General Administrator is responsible for answering incoming calls, directing calls to appropriate associates, mail distribution, flow of correspondence, requisition of supplies, providing customer assistance, data processing, recordkeeping, as well as additional duties. The General Admin will greet, assist, and provide direction and information to clients, visitors, and other guests of the organization.

Service & Repair Customer Service Rep

Primarily responsible for providing effective customer service for all internal and external Hydrotech customers by utilizing excellent, in-depth knowledge of company products and programs. The customer service representative will work with team members from all departments to act as a liaison, provide product/services information and resolve any emerging problems that our clients might face. The goal of the customer service representative is to provide an exceptional level of customer support and maintain high customer satisfaction.

Sales Support Rep

Hydrotech is looking for a highly motivated, customer service focused professional to join our Inside Sales Group to meet the growth and opportunities in our target market areas. The ideal candidate will have customer service experience and will perform tasks in support of the Inside and Outside Sales Groups.

A typical day includes managing and processing incoming customer orders, preparing quotations, maintaining order data, and order expediting.

Assembly Technician

Following the direction of the shop supervisor to complete work orders in a timely and accurate manor. The Assembly Technician will be responsible for the assembly of all Certified Power Product. The main emphasis for this position is assembly; other duties may include welding, painting, general repair and maintenance of shop equipment.

Hydrotech Training

Level 1 Hydraulic Training -  Principles of Hydraulics

This is a 5-day training program that teaches maintenance personnel the principles of industrial hydraulics.

Level 2 Hydraulic Training - Hydraulic System Maintenance

The goal of this 2nd level industrial hydraulic course is to develop maintenance personnel with advanced hydraulic skills.
